You may need to upgrade you memory. This is done by checking how much memory you have and just adding some more. You can get a memory stick online. More memory makes things faster usually

try getting your computer to safemode with networking. YOu can do that by doing a shut down on the pc and once you reboot it,press F8 on the keyboard rapidly until you get something and select safemode with networking and that should fix your problem

Goodluck..if it doesnt work, then something is wrong on the computer..there could be some software conflict or your computer doesnt have enough space or memory to let you download anything

Have the memory in your computer checked out (Ram) if it is good then add more memory if possible or if you got two memory slots and both are already taken get bigger memory size sticks

However, if you are asking because you saw it before playing some game online, then it probably means the website needs to check your system to see if you have enough computer power (processing speed, ram, video, and ect.) to play the game.

do you mean it freezes while multitasking; running a whole bunch of things at once? If so, then it could be because your RAM is not that great and all of your 'tasks' are using more memory than your RAM can give.
