I think it's great how they know when to write in a Bloop hit, or a diving catch into the script. I wish they scripted other sports as well.
Have you ever noticed how the local games are not scripted as well as the national games?
Is there anything worse then when a pitcher gets hit by a batted ball and they forget their lines? Just like Roy Halladay today in Anaheim.

How can baseball be scripted? That would be very difficult to do.

All team sports are scripted these days. It is arranged so the officials/umpires get more air time and the better teams be damned.
