Our obsession with money, fame, and materialistic gain. That we acknowledge and enrich TV and movie actors and athletes more than people who actually work hard providing our goods and services. We used to throw coins in a hat for entertainment. Now playing pretend and games is more profitable than farming, and probably your job. That we the people have let our political system run itself into the ground. Our votes which are so valuable to everyone, have been tampered with and adjusted to meet election pre-planning. Our political parties have turned into self serving kiddie clubs, complete with name calling, bullying, and underhanded tactics, trying to divide our people up even more than they are now. Oh, and I really don't like the fact that our government can give itself income raises whenever it pleases but our income always seems to stay a few years behind the cost of living. Shouldn't we have a say when and if they get a raise? We put them there. There. I got it out of my system!

I am sure all non-Americans, would say it is our lack of humility! Or that we are the most obese nation. (I have read that a lot on here today.) Too bad, I can't think of any American characteristics that I am not proud of.
