It is a combination of head and gut. First my head because I have to determine what is right and what is wrong. Then I use my gut instinct, because that is where I decide which to apply or how much of each, sometimes it takes a combination of right and wrong to make a workable situation.

Head.
Long, bitter experience shows me that my heart and gut only ever get things right in the short term. In the long term, they're invariably wrong.
