yes for acid reflux. it got better becuase they prescribed the right medicine.

for my swallowing and gerd symptoms i was awake during the procedure and it was not painful at all, and i have a neuromuscular illness which impairs me from certain anesthetics so that put a fear in me, but when they sprayed that spray in my throat it was easy, i even watched it on the screen they were using as the tube went down it is very simple. the after effects were none the symptom theyh found was what i had to work with not thr procedure

It's a diagnositc procedure to check your upper gastro-intestinal system. It doesn't make you better or worse - it determines what is wrong, if anything, with your digestive system.
