Looks to me like they had an offense that scored enough points to be average

I've been saying it since long before this first game: The Bears will win the Super Bowl!!!

The bears are in a Lousy division, and that will help them ALOT. But they have NO Offense, and its not like its a surprise, they havent had an offense for 3 years now. They cant pass AT ALL, and even if they can run, they wont be able to, because defenses will just stack the box and keep them from running becuse they know the bears cant throw the ball a lick.. They will have problems against Teams with Diversified Offenses, the teams in the NFC that can throw and run it well... Like the Giants, the Eagles, the Panthers (if they have steve smith), the Seahawks, the Cowboys... the bears wont beat those teams

Dont count all your eggs before they have hatched, this is only 1 game and it was against a below average green bay team, colts were the same way last year, everyone thought their defense would win games in the first 5-6 weeks, but they came down to earth eventually, and the bears offense will as well

Yeah, the offense looked great against a terribly weak Green Bay defense. We'll see what Chicago does at home vs. Detroit next Sunday. Lions +8 looks very promising; with no offense on either side and a total of 32, it will be hard for any team to cover 8.

i say the same result as last year. their defense will be able to keep them in games and sometimes take over games, but their offense is lacking too much for success in the playoffs. they played green bay today, and although its teh first tim ein his career brett favre had been shutout, green bay was projected to have one of the worst records in football. the bears will win their division again , and possibly get a bye but they wont make it far.

Bears should win the NFC North again this year-because-they really don't have any competition!!!
Their defense is adequate. Their offense will have to improve vastly before you can start believing that they're Stupor Bowl bound

GO GIANTS!!!!!!!!!!!1

Not seeing that at all. Their offense is a joke and they have a really good defense. They are in a crap division so I think they'll win it and lose in the playoffs.

Hard to say since they played Green Bay. I'll have to see when they play someone who won't be picking in the top 3 in next's years draft.

How far will the Bears go?
Why, are you dating one of them?

Dunno. I didn't see the game (unfortunately), and while I'm thrilled they stomped the Packers into the ground, anyone who's been a Bears fan for a while knows that the team is prone to heartbreak!!

Ask again in December...
