Did anyone watch the special about Osama it sounded to me he was not about the people just about self glorification totally. Just wants to be a war heroe at any cost. That in Afghanistan he ran away and hid during fighting. Might explain him living through so much aye?

The US has been murdering innocent people around the world for decades and Americans appear to be either unaware or uninterested in that simple fact. Likewise, while some of the people at the WTC were "innocent," the facts are that several of the floors of the WTC were used by the government and by the military, such that, at least some of those people might meet the standards required to be a "legitimate military target." Secondly, the WTC was the financial capital of the nation, and many of the people that worked there were responsible for policies that result in the death of people around the world every day by economically oppressing them through the IMF and the WTO, and by keeping them impoverished and without any hope of improving their lot in life. And, the simple fact is if we are to condemn Osama for taking delight in 9/11, don't we also have to condemn all the Americans who have taken great delight in the wanton slaughter of Iraqis during the American Occupation? Over 100,000 noncombatant civilians, mainly women and children, have died from American military assaults in Iraq. Sadly, American media isn't interested in reporting that fact. It turns a blind eye just the way it ignores the 50,000 permanently disabled vets returning home from the Occupation minus various limbs and what-not.

So, why is Osama hiding? Given the martyr complex that most followers of extreme Islamic fundamentalism have, it is unlikely he is afraid to die. Rather, he is afraid of being taken captive and submitting to the humiliation that Saddam Hussein continues to face. As it is right now, the US and Pakistani governments are presently making a deal with him, so that he can grow old in Wajiristan, a province in Northern Pakistan. That's right: the government knows exactly where he is and is making a deal to let him go. Soooooooo...perhaps this occupation of Iraq has nothing to do with either Osama or 9/11? Never fear, the US will break any deal it makes with him. As soon as time has passed and Osama has grown lazy, government operatives will assassinate him. Of course, then he'll become a marytr to another generation of terrorists. Odd, how every solution leads to another problem.

That's what warriors do.They revel in their shot-to-kill ratio. A true warrior doesn't run and hide though, so bin Laden and the terrorist legions are simply wannabes. There is no glory in death, not even for martyrs. The glory which eludes our terrorist foes in their misguided quest to hook-up with 72 virgins is lost due to the glory of true martyrdom is not in the resulting death, but in the ideals the martyr dies for.

As for binny, y'know... bin Laden, binny threw a lucky punch, then went into hiding. That chickshit basturd cannot possibly be viewed as a warrior. He just ain't man enough. I guess.

Muslims are for the most part fanatical extremists, there are exceptions.
You need to take people at face value, if they believe their God is better than your God then they will fight you or blow you up or whatever else it takes to make their God shine.
Some contries, especially the Middle East have different fundemental beliefs than say the USA.
That is where the problems lie, for example any Islam who blows himself up for his country is promised 72 Virgins in Heaven.
Personally I would want to see the photos first!

Didn't see it. The way he is depicted in the media is scary, but I wonder how much of it is truth. I mean, how could a man who believes in having no material possessions and lives in a cave have such a huge demonic plan as we claim he does?? Just doesn't ring true for me. The Bush/BinLadin family business association thing makes me raise an eyebrow too.
