Unconditional love, acceptance, kindness, unselfishness, honesty, patience, responsible, trustworthy, sense of humor, empathy, realistic, goal orientated, imperfection, and wisdom.
Then when you have those down and have covered the early years, you are going to have to be able to leap tall buildings (even those made of blocks) in a single bound. Be faster than a speeding train (to save the glass of milk about to spill over) and have super-human strength to control the temper tantrums.
After that comes the teenage years....at this point you'll need to re-think acceptance and taking a crash course in anger management will help!
