Why do so many Islamic people want to kill none Islamic people, does their beliefs really push this point?

I believe that most Moslems are peaceful people, but Islam is actually not that tolerant. A work colleague gave me a copy of the Quran, with English translation. I soon gave it back to her after being appalled by the number of times that I read in the second chapter that "Jews and Christians are fools". I am a secularist (=atheist), but I respect other people's right to believe whatever works for them. After all, we only believe, we do not know. However I can not admire any religion that devotes time to denouncing its rivals as Islam does. But therein lies the hypocrisy of Islam - it can ridicule other religions with impunity, but beware anyone that ridicules it.

Your question is not completely finished, if you were to ask that you could also ask:
Why do men beat their wives?
Why do Christians bomb abortion clinics and claim they're right despite the fact that their religious fundamentals striclty oppose it?
Why are some people oppressed for trivial reasons like skin colour?

You see what u must realize is that Islam like all other of the major organized religions Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism to name a few, advocate peaceful living against all else. If you were to read an English version of the Holy Kuran you would evidence of such.

However this is not the real world in which we live. Despite the inistitutions that they belong to, Religous, Gov't, Education, there will always be people who from the offest propagate good values of the institutions to which they belong but do something totally contradictory. Like a previous answer on this page, extremists in the case of those Muslims who want to kill "Zionists". Like the self-righteous Christians who bomb abortion clinics, kill the doctors who perform them and then say that they do it in the name of a Just and Holy God!!

Because they think they'll get to heaven by their deeds and if they kill themselves by killing us so called infidels that's even a better spot in heaven for them.
And don't think these extremist started out as extremist, they had to start studying and practicing Islam just like some of our "harmless" next door neighbors.

Fatalism
Mysticism
Collectivism
Total obedience...
Religions are much like tribal beliefs... they are not constructed for meeting strangers too often... they explain a universe which is quite little and enclosed... and in which every stranger is threat for the divine order!

First of all just clear your mind, no religion including Islam, ever teach its belivers to kill those who dont follow them.
2nd Islam dont ask or push their belivers to kill those who dont follow them.
if some (whose are in minorities) are doing in the name of religion u cant blame all who are in majority.

Dear, I am yet to read the whole Quran my self as I have done to the Bible (at leas tmost of it). I beleive it may be what they have been told to do to defend their relgious faith and to gain acess to heaven or so.

I know the Bible say s that, " The jsut shall take the kingdom by faith and force" something like that.
