Who is sick and tired of celebrities?

Do you honestly think they deserve to make 10-20 million a movie for a weak script and spending a few days/long hours doing what they "love"? Because I think there are other occupations that are more deserving for that amount of pay! AND they spend it like money grows on trees like that ***** Paris Fuckton! I bet most of them DO NOT know what it is like to make a dollar for so much!!! WE, the fans are supporting them by buying the products they advertise, the music they sell, the movies they make....w/o us...they are garbage!

Aning, FYI! I work full time and go to school at night so I do not have time for the t.v BUT I constantly see them on ads and at newstands...DUH!

I am. I think most of them are over-rated and over-paid. They like to boast about the fact that they have money. As if we didn't already know.

I'm sick of seeing them in advertisements as well, I could care less what car they drive, what shampoo they use, which soda they drink.

I'm with you, enough already.

Here's the bottom line - if the movie studios - who pay the tens of millions of dollars, could find people who could act as well as the current celebrities, but who would work for less...................do you think for 1 minutes that the studios would NOT hire the cheaper actors & actresses ?

When you are the best at what you do & you DO NOT HAVE TO WORK, you can make a demand for tens of millions of dollars & the studios can either hire you or someone else.

Perhaps they pay the vast amounts because these people are actually worth it ?

Albert Pujols & Angelina Jolie both made $14m last year. I'm certainly more entertained by Angelina !

But ya' know in the end - if you don't like these people, stop going to see their movies or watching their TV shows - it's an easy choice to make.

I'm sick of them but not for the money they make. Celebrities make the money they make because of what they do. For example, Pirates of the Caribbean made an *ss load of money. I don't have a clue what Johnny Depp got paid, but you can bet it was a decent amount. Now would it had been right for him to make let's say $40,000 for a movie that he made huge that made that much?? If that was you, wouldn't you have like to got paid what you were worth for the work you did in making that movie a success that it was?

I'm more tired of the whole celebrity hype. I'm soooo sick of hearing about their personal lives I could blow up something. I mean who really cares about Tom, Kathy, Jessica, Nick, Brad, Angelina and so and so on. I would love to find someone who cares that much about people they don't even know. That is what drive me nuts about them, not their paycheck.

It is obscene that actors/actresses can be paid so much money for one movie. EEGADS, it is no wonder that tickets cost so much.
To make it worse these overpaid, self important people are constantly in the news doing things that sensible parents pray their children will not end up doing. They are a terrible example to the children of the world, and to the adults as well.

People like Paris Hilton gag me. The only event I would pay to see her in would be a court ordered mud wrestling match with pigs as a result of her DUI.

im not so much sick of celebs as much as I think that they should be left alone! I mean who wants to have all those bogus stories published about them and who wants to never have a moment where they can just BE with out so stupid photographer snooping into their lives?? I wouldnt and I be they all would like it if it would all just stop! yes they chose to be celebs but they still dont deserve all the bashing people give them.
like you said they are just doing what they love and I think all people should beable to do what they love!
and not all celebs spend their wages recklessly some donate it to good causes! some singers/bands even use it to give free concerts to those who wouldnt normally beable to go to one! and other have funded reserch for science! Just look at all Jerry Lewis has done! he has spend many many years of his life and millions of his own money to help sick kids! I'd say thats a pretty worthy cause!
And like you said they make those paychecks because of what we the veiwers buy of theirs I'm sure they would still be actors/actresses/singers ect if they made far less cause they would still be doing what they love!

I don't really think so. Acting, singing, modeling, and stuff isn't as easy as it seems. Simply walking down a road you may have to do over and over again if the directer doesn't like it. If things don't turn out right, you may not even be able to stop for break until that scene is done well. Modeling is the same, if they don't like it, you may have to do over and over again. It's really not as easy as it seems. I haven't done any of that before, but I'm pretty sure it's really tiring and people take their pictures and draw or modify them and saying things behind their back. Plus, they can barely go out in public without stalkers following them.

i'm not.... the movies/shows the appear/ make are like as escape from real life and EVERYONE needs that now and then. i mean ya everyone knows that celebrities make a ridiculous amount of money and that other occupations such as TEACHER and DOCTORS are more worth the money but that's just the way our society is.

i'm sick of them having such a free ride and still messing it up. they spend money like it means nothing and that's just not right for those of us barely making enough to get by now. i wish this world was more equal in many sense of the word. it's just down right wrong.

i am so sick of them so i dont really watch tv that much i prefer to let the tv alone and i go do things that are far more interesting like read a book . play sports, if you are so tired of celebrities let go of the remote and go do other fruitful endeavours in life we have a choice!!!!
