In san diego it's between $9.50 and $10.50 per night movie. Day time movies are a little cheaper. It's expensive but worth the price for the experience of seeing it on a big screen. How these funds are allocated though is a different story all together! I think movies are way over priced but if we don't want to spend the money we don't have to see the movie. My best advice: sign up for Netflix and wait until it comes out on DVD unless it's one of those great epic films that has to be seen in blown up proportions!

I live in Wisconsin and Most cities here are roughly around the same price. If you go on a Saturday night-6 or 7 bucks. Sat-Sun-during the day, we have whats called Matinees and they are cheap, like 1.00. I'm not quite sure what it costs during the week though cause I work 2nd shift.

The closest theater to my house costs $9.75. There are theaters within about 50 miles that are as low as $7.75. If anyone ever makes a decent movie again, I'd almost consider thinking about maybe going.

Southern California.

One theater in town costs $5.50 for adults and the other theater plays movies a little while later (couple weeks or a month later) for $1.50. It's the snacks that will make it an expensive evening.

Oh yeah? I go to 600 N. Michigan here in Chicago, IL USA and I pay $0. I just walk straight through security, smiles and say "Manager called me in early, sucks ***", and keep walking. Go up the escalator and it's movie time baby.
