This may sound odd, but consider it: The pressure to pursue personal happiness. I know, it's supposed to be a right, but it has somehow turned into a pressure. There are a lot of places which hold it in higher regard to be dutiful or caring instead - which is also fine in America, but if you're honest, people who extol those virtues primarily are considered weird in America, aren't they?
