The back strap should sit in the middle of your back.
This should help:

Actually you should try a 32C or D cup.

If you have a Victoria's Secret please go in and ask for a bra fitting. They will measure you and bring you a few options. Try on different styles as well- racer back- T back- demi- push up- etc. Not all bra styles fit the same so it is worth checking them all to see what size is best for you in each style. You do not need to buy as a result of the fitting. They are very expensive but they are the experts at fitting a bra.

I went through life just like you thinking I was a 36B- after a trip to VS I realized with their help I was indeed a 32-34 (style again) D cup.

That fitting made me comfortable with my choices and made me feel better since I wasn't always worring about tighten straps, sliding strps or cups that didn't fit comfortably.

A great fitted bra even in granny boring white can make an outfit amazing and you feel like a queen!

Unless your bra is really old, it sounds like you are wearing a too big band size.34 B cup fits perfectly? Try on a 32 bandsize but go up at least a cup. Your new size will be a 32C try a 32D as well just in case. New bra should fit at loosest hook as it will stretch over time and that is when you move it to the tighter ones. Don't pay attention to tape measures as professional stores like myintimacy have proclaimed that not accurate. It's not the measurement, it's about what fits perfectly and stays in place.

34B sounds about right. Just check your upper rib cage measurement by measuring above the breasts, under the armpits. If this is 34 inches, then you are about 34B.

If it's not 34 inches, let me know the measurement, and I'll give you your correct bra size. If you are putting the band on the tightest hook, you may want to try a 32C or D like the above poster suggested. HTH : )

Please just save yourself a lot of trouble and go to Victoria Secrets and get fitted for a bra!!! They will measure you for free so at least you'll know your right size from there on out.
