Your friend comes first. You'll be friends again later, and she will love you the more. You'll stay in contact via the web/email etc. Remember you love this person, it's HER well being that counts, not whether you're together.

Would you rather have your friend get sent away (for now) or really never be able to see her ever again cause she's dead (beatings are known to get out of hand)? Think about it. There's always a way to find a person. Would you rather have her get beat up everyday just because of your selfishness in keeping her near you or would you rather know that she's far away, but happy and safe? If you tell, she will be probably be angry at you or feel betrayed, but she will later understand that you did it because you cared about her and she will love you and thank you for it later. And about never seeing her again...you will see her again if you really want to. Where there's a will there's a way. I hope you make the right decision to help her.

tell because if you don't to be bluntly honest she could get killed some day when it gets carried away even if it's not that bad yet you just never know and you can do it anonymously and if she gets taken away it's not the worse thing maybe a family member would take her in and who knows maybe your family could take her in if you have the means to do so

If you truly care about the wellbeing of your friend you should encourage her to tell an adult what is happening at home.Abuse is never okay!It is extremely dangerous. If your friend refuses to tell someone then you go ahead and tell a trusted adult!

Tell the police. She could get very seroisly hurt. Don't think twice about reporting it to the police.

Speak to someone on her behalf, before it is too late. She is obviously being abused at home. It is better to have her safe and sound somewhere else, and see her from time to time than to visit her grave later.
