A 70's kid show Captain Kangaroo and Electric Company?

Yes. I loved watching Captain Kangaroo! I would sing along with the theme song "Good Morning, Captain!" I would watch the show all the time to catch whenever they played the short cartoon of Simon who drew things that came to life ("Hello my name is Simon, and the things I draw come true"). I also remember the electric company. "Hey, you guys!" being yelled was one of my favorite things on that show. Boy, does this question bring back memories! lol :-)

You wrote (a show= 1) If i remember correctly wasn't Captain Kangaroo one show and Electric Company another show? Do you remember Mr Green Jeans on Captain Kangaroo. Yes i sorta kinda remember a little of both.

I loved Captain Kangaroo. I wasn't real crazy about Electric Company but I watched it anyway, cause there wasn't any cable and you only had 5 or 6 channels. PBS was the only channel that showed kids shows during the day, until about 4p.m. anyway. That's when all the good cartoons came on.....Heckyl and Jeckyl, Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther. And I loved to watch the Dukes of Hazzard in the evening. Sorry so long, you just brought back so many memories.

Captain Kangaroo is much older than the 70's. I used to watch it in black and white!! Not telling my age!!!lol
My sons watched the electric company!
