Give a reason other than you saw it on a t-shirt. I want something interesting from people who actually listen to music instead of using it as cartoons for their ears. I can't say I have one by I love Eric C. Dime B. SRV Kirk H. and BB K. (if you don't know two of these without asking someone refrain from answering cuz you don't know guitarists) Tell me someone i Have never heard of before, someone obscure that I don't know, I am trying to expand my music realm with this question. Not too many new guitarists out there but even some old legend I don't know will help. Thanks

Will Cody Lester, look for him in the future. An alternative blues rocker. Sounds a bit like Eric Clapton the god of guitar players and BB King

I like all the guitarists that you've mentioned as well as a few others that people have mentioned.

One artist that hasn't been mentioned is Tuck Andres of Tuck and Patti. There a Jazz duet, Tuck plays guitar and Patti sings. Tuck plays finger style and is amazing. together they make some beautiful music.

A hot album of theirs is Tears of joy!

properly neither are my well-liked yet Hendrix is a lot extra appropriate than internet site. Hendrix is unique, gifted and Brillant. internet site is high quality as a participant yet did no longer arise together with his very own stuff various the time. Hell, he flat out stole songs with Zep. Plus, he replaced into sloppy. Hendrix replaced into gentle as silk.

Jeff Beck. My French flatmate in Uni listened to his stuff a lot and now I'm hooked.

Favourite albums are from the early 70s - Wired, Blow By Blow, Rough and Ready (which includes my favourite track - Situation)

Judging by the artists you've listed, I think you'll be impressed.

My favorite guitarists are Steve Vai and George Lynch. They play with so much emotion. They make you feel the song, not so much hear it. Also Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen and Tony MacAlpine are really good. Check them out if you haven't heard their stuff yet.

Marty Friedman is the greatest lead guitarist ever, I dont care what you say! He used to be in Megadeth, but now he is in Japan doing solo work. Just check out the song "Tornado of Souls" by Megadeth. One of the greatest solos there are.

I like all the guys you mentioned, i'd check out Randy Rhodes, Ozzy's old guitarist. Eddie Van Halen was also pretty good, he started all that fancy guitar playing in the 80's.
