I've been on the pill, the patch, and now I'm on the shot. I'd have to say the shot is the easiest, you go once every 3 months to get it done. As for the pill, you MUST remember to take it everyday, at the same time, or it won't be as effective. I would definitey pass on the patch, it's ugly and it gets these black sticky rings from the lint in your clothes around the patch, ewww.

Ortho Tri Cyclin Lo is a great brand of birth control pills. My sister is a doctor and she recommended them to me. I've been on those for a few years now. I've never had any problems with them...no cramps, no weight gain, etc.

Talk to your doctor. Each kind has slightly different hormones and will cause different side effects.
I was on the Ortho Tri-Cyclen (I know that's spelled wrong) before I had my son. (Conceived him on the pill, BTW.) After I finished nursing and went back on them, the hormones didn't do well. I switched to a single-hormone pill and haven't had any problems.

Talk to your doctor. There are so many choices - you need to be 100% informed.
Some women cannot take birth control successfully while others take it for years.
Be informed before you decide. 100% by a doctor.

Being that each woman is different, that's something you should discuss with your doctor.
