I'm a Red Sox fan and I tip my hat to the Yankee's this year for how they stuck around and took the division. I know it's not over but I realize that the Playoffs are a very longshot for the Red Sox. See Ya next year.

No. It is genetically impossible. Just as a Yankee's fan would never tip their hat to the Yankees.
That being said, why would anyone want to tip their hat to the the Yankees. They buy a winning team every year. Perhaps if there was parity in the league like the NFL, the Yankees would earn the respect, rather than buy it.
FYI - I am not a Red Sox fan.
