Is it me or did anyone else noticed that when the camera focused in on Tony Dungy, he just seemed to just stand still as if nothing was happening. Through out the whole game, when he was on tv, he didnt even say a word, whats up with that?

Tony Dungy is a good coach, and yes, he is very quiet.

I have watched the Steelers for years, since I live near Pittsburgh, and when he was assistant coach under Cowher, he was the same quiet individual. Dungy's alright.

He has a great poker face. Cool, calm and collective. I believe he has a lot of confidence in Peyton to run the offense and needs only to send a play to him with his mic. His team had very few penalties and only one interception so there was little need to get upset. Sometimes you can convey things more efffectively with a stone face but yes I did notice that. I am a Steeler fan and Cowher is the exact opposite his chin sticks out, you read cuss words on his lips and he either is yelling or hugging a player after something happens. Different paople respond and react in different ways is all I guess.

That's Tony's style, he doesn't let anything get him overexcited. It is that penchant for calm that has helped him win close games more than any other thing, although it feels irritating when he loses...like every year in the playoffs.

If he's not calling plays - he won't have much to say during the game. Perhaps the co-ordinators call the plays.

Or they just say "Peyton, whatever you want is good with us" :-)

That's just how he is and I guess he has still been affected by the death of his son.
