I would like to know everything there is to know....? impt. details like understanding all the percentages thingys..... PLEASE

You can learn for free. Visit your local public library and ask the librarian the same question you asked here. It is great that you want to learn this, but it's way too complicated to handle here.

You will never know everything there is to know, because there are many specialty niches.

If you want to know, and you have $$, you can go to Fidelity and they'll sit down and teach you some basics.
