I am a fan of adult movies. I have been a fan since the early-mid 80s, a true devotee since the 90s gonzo, a true believer since Tiffany Mynx came onboard in 1992, and now a contributor to the buisness since 2004.
Actors in adult films are not necessarly "strong" per se, but chosen due to their physical attributes.
First of all, if a "stud" is hiried simply to be the stud, then obviously the director and producer will opt for a muscle-bound guy with a big member who can use it. This is common knowledge...
Second, it wasn't always like this; so-called "studs" from the 80s and 90s weren't always the buffed-up big member guys we see today. In fact, alot of the 80s and transition 90s guys were what I would label as "losers" in all departments except for stamina, which would explain why producers would keep hiring certain males for p*rn productions, regardless of fan disapproval.
Thirdly, I think everyone moderatly wised up with the 21st century p*rn market; realising that good-looking guys (or at least, semi-decent) were better for everyone, the producers also began "importing" males from europe, so many males working the biz today (David Perry, Manuel Ferrera, Mick Blue for example) are actually euro guys who now work, direct and produce in the USA.
Fourthly, I never try to compare myself to the p*rn studs in the flicks. That's a recipe for low self esteem. Obviously when I see old timers like Randy West, Tony Tedeshi, and Nick East, I feel very good about myself (as I believe I can offer a much better performance than these guys), although I shrink back to the size of a peanut when I see studs like Rocco, Peter North, and Jules Jordan for example.
So in my final thoughts, I think people should be aware that p*rn films are NOT real life at all; they are a CGI-free exploration of different (and athletic) sexual practices, often enhanced to show the explicit nature of such productions. Performers are not actors, but rather technicians of sexual explicitness, and should never be refered to as "actors" except if you consider performance art to be "art". The performers are obviously chosen for their physical attributes (male and female) and for their ability to perform, and how far they are willing to go in their performances.
P*rn is not reality, it is CGI-free fantasy.
Cheers!

If your referring to porn movies, yes I enjoy them time to time. The actor's don't need to be strong, just will and able to perform the sexual act. By the way some times they only pretend to be enjoying them self's and in some cases use "stunt doubles" when they have to finish (climax) believe or not.
But if you referring to adult action movies the kind rated R, then again often the actors use stunt doubles and they don't have to be strong since it's all make believe.
Anyway you look at it, it's only make believe in both cases.

I've watched only 3 adult movies in my life. The male actors have to keep themselves in shape (unless you're Ron Jeremy and he's exempt because of his big ****) to remain in the business (so the actresses would want to **** with them).

Yes, I do like XXX movies. In order to maintain in the business, they have to perform well. They take energy pills and they don't act everyday. They have to work out regularly to keep in shape.

I love pornography. For the record. I'm not sure why they always use guys with enormo-dongs, but I don't know if I would like them more or less if the guys were hung like...well...like you.

the acting is poor, the stories are poor. They are not in them for their acting skills.
