Well, had a list of these things going since I was about 20...
1. Manners. Simple ones like please and thanks would be great!

2. Driving. (NO, you are not the only car on the road!)

3. Speech. (lets work on grammar first- we can talk about spelling later)

4. Handwriting ( do they even teach this anymore in school??)
Penmanship used to be really high on the list at school...

Paying attention to those around them. Most people don't listen, don't watch, and generally don't care about anything beyond their bubble. If you do pay attention, though, you would be amazed about what you can learn about habits, preferences, things left unsaid, body language, and of course, how to be a better friend, lover, and family member.

To think for themselves rather than to parrot what they have heard others say.
Experiences that enable them develop empathy for others rather than the common dismissal: that's crazy. I'd never do that.
