Moisten a clean white rag with rubbing alcohol and dab the marker line. for several seconds. Then use a paste of baking soda and water to scrub it clean.

The Mr. Clean solution will take the color out of the paint if it's not white.

Try Goo off (not goo gone), it works great generally. If not, a paint job should do the trick...
