What the heck is the purpose of this question? Win against what???? What are they competing against? and Why? If you're talking about battle/fight - they're both dumb. Rednecks are crazy. Gangsters stomp people out. The police roll up and spray everyone with water hoses, tase people, and spray mace - and the ones who are able to, get up and go back home. The police win.

Rednecks or die trying....But in all fairness I don't know any local gangstas...There aren't any in this little town I live in. No matter what race we are the rest of the world would think us all rednecks. haha

It depends on the terrain/land where they will do battle.
If it's the countryside or mountain areas....definitely the rednecks with assistance from the hillbillys.
If it's the streets (urban warfare)....Gangstas hands down.

Rednecks. They can get organized and fight as a unit. Gangstas would be fighting each other for turf while the rednecks picked them off one by one. If I have to be in a battle somewhere please surround me with rednecks... and I'm a Yankee!
