ugh im the type of person who is always laughing and talking but the moment i shut up everyone thinks theres something wrong w. me! my friend had the nerve to call me bipolar...im like wtf? why is it such a shock for loud pple to be quiet suddenly?

When you condition people to expect that you'll be a certain way, then you act differently, they will wonder if something is wrong. Go easy on your friends; they just want to take care of you. I'm a loud person, too, but I certainly have quiet times and enjoy solitude once in a while.

Perhaps its just that the difference is more noticeable in extroverted people....Try not to get the s**ts at em tho. They r ur friends n they r proving that by showing concern. It does get a lil annoyin when ur in a quiet mood n u get a dozen, well meaning people all asking, repeatedly, if ur ok, whats wrong...... Just tell em u need to think n they r makin that hard to do.

Same reason it's a shock for quiet people to shout all of the suddenly. It's out of character and a bit of a shock to those around them who know them and are used to them being whatever way they are.

Probably they are surprised by the 'quiet you' since you are always laughing and talking so much. I do not think you are bipolar, that is not one of the symptoms.
