My hand, especially, is becoming more and more numb. If I "shake it out" and keep my arm extended downward, everything's ok. Any ideas of what's going on? I have a doc appt. in 2 weeks.

You have let this go on for six weeks....not the best choice. You could have a pinched nerve and/or spinal injuries. You should be having an MRI done as soon as possible. I would check with the doctors office to get the appointment sooner, you could end up with permanent nerve damage. Good luck and have a good night.

Sounds like a pinched nerve. See if you can get an MRI of your spine to see if anything's going on. Do you really have to wait 2 weeks? Call the nurse and tell her what's going on to see if you can get in sooner.
