Giant Peruvian Cockroach aka Peppered Cockroach aka Archimandrita tesselata. My males and females are almost exactly the same length and width. What other way can I determine sex?

Aren't there any cockroach breeders out there who can answer this question? I know I have both male and female because I've seen them mate. But I don't know this species well enough to tell male from female except for the female beging shorter and wider as a rule. I seem to have two races, however. One is much larger and darker, but they are not a different species and the size and coloration doesn't seem to have anything to do with the sex. American cockroaches are easy to sex because the last segments are quite different. I don't see this on A. tesselata. Help! No jokes, please. I'm serious!

Construct an elaborate mini-nightclub, and place your Archimandrita tesselata within this controlled environment - observe behavior.

If you have a female/male pair, then you can expect to see heavy grinding on the dance floor.

if you don't know how to tell males and females apart, how do you know that you have males and females? Maybe you have all males?
