1) Its not always rock that they use. Sometimes they use broken up concrete, and refuse like house hold trash.

2) The land above become very unstable. Thus creating sink holes. And if they are not restored properly they can have a build up of gasses that can leak out and can be ignited by friction. This will create an explosion.

3)Revitalization is when top soil is returned and parks or wild life are one of the many new uses of the land.

4) It depends on the size of the mineral deposit, and the cost to extract it from the ground.

5) a) It causes acid rain
b) It is bad for air quality. It will also leave coal dust when it is being transfered which in due time will cause anyone with lung disorders to die. Due to the fact it coats the lung walls with the dust.

5.Disadvantages
Some sources of coal are deep below the ground, as in the UK. They can be difficult, costly and dangerous to mine.

Burning coal without first purifying it contributes to global warming, as well as to the production of smog (smoke and fog), which is harmful to health. It is a finite resource and will eventually run out.

ps- why would you think that an unattainable unuseable (basically imaginary) 10 pts would motivate someone else to spend their time on something that is probably required of YOU to find out????
