actor sean penn is a excellent gifted actor when he was younger yeah he was really cutier now hes sort of lost it but i will lways find a place for some of his unforgetable films like falconn and the snowmann, excellent!!

He is a gifted actor and I very much enjoy his work. I try not to judge artists for their behavior as I have not been through their particular experiences. But I do have soft spots in my heart for artists that epitomize good values and good character. I saw a trailer for a new Sean Penn movie coming out this fall that appears to be the story of Govenor Huey Long. He appears to be at the top of his game from the clips and I would not doubt he will contend for another Oscar.

I adore him.
I'm sorry but he's amazing in my eyes.
Dead Man Walking, The Rainman, I Am Sam, The Interpreter, 21 Grams, Carlito's Way.
All those movies were amazing and wouldn't have even come close to their great current appeal without Penn.

The only movie I really liked from his younger years was Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I think he is a much better actor now than in his early acting years. So, yes, now I do appreciate the work that he does. :)

I think that he has grown to be one of the better actors of our time.
I think that it is safe to say that when he was much younger he was not very good, but now he is amazing!
Have you not seen Mystic River, or I Am Sam. Yesterday we watched The Assination of Richard Nixon, and he was unbelievable!
He has come along way from Taps, and Fastimes At Ridgemont High.

I don't mind him as an actor and I like a lot of his films. However, outside of movies, he is definitely a prick.
