I don't know about anyone else but the IRS won't give me a break on taxes. If I owe I better have them paid on time.

Why should we consult Mexico before securing the border? That is insane. We have the right to close or secure our border at anytime.
I also agree with about the taxes, the IRS makes everyone else pay. Why should they get a reprieve just because they broke the law.
If your first point was about requiring higher wages for illegals compared to citizens, then I can see both sides. On one hand, it discourages employers from hiring them. But on the other hand, why should Americans get paid less than illegals? I think that the pay should be equal if they must be allowed to get a job.
I agree to giving employers a pass up until a bill is passed. At that time, they had better start following the law, or face consequences.
If the government wants to make a large percentage of the illegals in the country now legal citizens, fine, just as long as they pay all back taxes (unless they would have gotten it back anyway), the border is secured (without Mexico's permission), and illegal immigration is dealt with more seriously in the the future.

the answer to all these questions is very simple: VOTES.
PERIOD.
the dems and the reps will stop at nothing short of self-destruction to get more votes. they would register usama bin laden if they could insure he would vote their way.
it has gotten so bad in dc with the two parties that i have been saying for the last 25 years that if someone blew up the Capitol while they were in session, i would call it justifiable homicide.

the government has told employers that they have to hire illegal aliens. They are told to pay them more and to give them tax breaks where they don't pay taxes for three to five years the government saids they have to do pass this law to do this.
