My period is suppose to start my period on the 13th, I had been having pregnancy symptoms for about a week. (I'm pretty sure the symptoms are in my head, because it's to soon.) Yesterday I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. Does this mean I'm not pregnant? Now I'm having some cramping around my belly button? What does this mean? ♥ I really want a baby!♥

Don't worry it's stress.

I know it can be so hard to wait when you are so excited. The early tests are still only about 70 % effective prior to missing a period. So that still leaves you a 30% chance of a false negative.
My best advice is to wait and see. If you can't then there is no harm in doing an early test. Just remember that you may have to purchase another test in a few days.
The feelings you are experiencing are the same for early pregnancy and pms. Muscle cramping, ligament pain. Until you see the second pink line it is just too hard to tell.

the crampy feeling could just be normal PMS cramps. you could take another test in a few days to check again if you want, but be sure not to get your hopes up like I did. I was a mess trying to figure out if I Was pregnant with mysecond or not. first the test was negative, then positive, then negative, then positive, then negative then positive....you get the idea....for 2 whole weeks before I could get in to my dr to have them check with the blood test. And I got myself all worked up too, when it came back positive, I was deleriously happy, but when the next one came back negative, I was so depressed, I Could barely function.

In either case, wait a few days just to make sure, then try again.

hope this helps a little

It could mean you aren't pregnant but you might be so don't give up yet, just wait a little longer and re-take the test after the 13th.

Its never to soon, when i found out i was pregnant i was only about 2-3 wks along... they had to do so many test's blood work and ultra sounds when i seen it on the monitor it looked like a tadpol kinda, i would call your ob/gyn or family dr and ask them to get you a blood test thats about the only way to know. hope you get what you want babys are so precious just remember they grow up very quick seems like just yesterday i was bringin mine home and tomarrow hes starting preschool! good luck hon

a netative test right now is not conclusive its to early cramps could be because your only three days from your period to make it easer to get pregnant relax being to tense about getting pregant can cause you not to also make sure hubby wears boxers they are looser and do not constrict that area alow free flow so good luck

a little early for a test. wait a little longer. 2-3 days before expected period with 'early response' brand or after... good luck.
