It all depends on the tattooist's experience and the size of the tattoo. Mine is about 2" x 4" and it was $130. My friend got one by the same guy and hers was $80. It was like 1" x 1". The cheapest I have ever seen is about $40 for a little one. But BEWARE of a cheap tattoo! With tattoos, you ALWAYS get what you pay for!

You need to find a reputable shop and then take in your design and get an estimate. The tattoo cost will depend on size, location on your body and the amount of color you're wanting in the design. It also depends on the store.
If you have a design that you want the artist to work with they will often take it and improve on it and will require a down payment. But if you already have the design in hand and it is just how you want it then you can walk in and they'll tell you how much they'll charge.

Most tattoo places charge around 60-100 dollars/hour. If your zodiac is small and one color, it shouldn't take long. Where in mass do you live? I'm in the western college part, and we have a lot of great tattoo shops like Loonar, Luckys, HoleShot, Moms etc.....
