Every now and then I will get these spasms that feel like they are coming from way up in my vagina (and they don't feel good like orgasms!!) Someone told me this might be the baby pressing on nerves, anyone else experience this?

Yes, with my first pregnancy.

It's probably just stretching. Have you ever heard the phrase "growing pains"? When your body is carrying a baby, it has to stretch to accommodate the growth. From the top of your stomach to the genitals, you are being stretched to make room for the baby. It can be very uncomfortable, or even painful.

It could be the baby pressing on nerves, or laying on something the wrong way. Since it's not a constant pain, I wouldn't worry about it much. Just ask your OB at your next appointment to be sure.

I had this too...They said it was "ligament pain"...So, it was basically pain from all my muscles stretching. I was very scared and a vague sounding term didn't really put my mind at ease..But, everything with my pregnancy and my baby turned out fine. If you're really concerned, you might give your OB/GYN a call. Good luck. I hope everything turns out okay and try not to stress too much (I know, that's definitely easier said than done..).
