We spent a day in Napa Valley, just going from winery to winery, taking their tours and tasting their wines. It was a great time!

The biggest thing to do in Napa is visit the wineries. Most wineries in Napa charge from $5-$25 to taste wine. It is quite common for a couple to share a tasting. There are 2 wineries in Napa that still let you taste wine for free. They are Rombauer which is located on the Silverado Trail in St. Helena. They have a fabulous Chardonnay in the butterly oaky style. The other winery that's free is V. Sattui on Hwy. 29.

You can access free wine tasting coupons by signing up for the free online newsletter called Cheers2Wine News: http://www.cheers2wine.com/wine-newsletter.html This newsletter is emailed monthly. Some coupons are for complimentary wine tasting and others are for 2 for the price of 1.

I live very near the Napa Valley - if you are at least 21 yrs. old, the winery's are fabulous and you don't necessarily need to like wine. In fact you can go at any age but if you want to wine taste you must be 21.

Of course there's always the wonderful B&B's and hotels - Yountville is a great place to visit - touristy but fun. Check their website napavalley.com and go from there. It is a beautiful area

I don't care for wine but I go to Napa just to enjoy the food, scenery, beautiful winerys and hotels. :)
