My wife left me for another man about ten years ago. Well, last year I won a significant amount of money from the lottery. I'm set for life. Now she wants to come back to me. Am I wrong to tell her to get lost?

I would tell her to get lost too if I were you you don't want someone to be with you just for money and luxury you want someone to be with you because they love you and accept you for you when I met my husband he worked at Burger King none of that mattered to me because I wanted him not money and not luxury that is what you want from a woman to be with you for you and nothing else if she came back she would just be with you for your money and not for you and I guarantee if for some reason you would run out of money she would leave you after that don't fall for it you will find the right person one day you definitely don't want her though she will take you for a fool

My first question is: Does she know u won a significant amount of money? If so and she wants to come back then yes, she sounds like a gold digger. It would be in your best interest to tell her to get lost, not only because of her interest in your money but more so for the fact that she left u for another man several yrs ago.

It depends on the kind of person you are. Money is not everything but I'm sure you now know it definitely makes life stress-free. I have never been in a relationship with a man for his money but maybe I would of had a better relationship with this one man that I loved. He was always at work and had to pay a lot of child support. I say if you really love her and you think she is a good person, try it again. If you guard your money what's to loose? You're in control. Money is power. Follow your heart and if later you want to leave her for the "the love of your life" that finally shows up you can. It's karma baby!

Yes, she is a gold digger. The money has made you very attractive to her. Tell her to get lost.

If it has taken her 10 years and your winning the lottery to decide she wants you back, I would say she's after the money.

No! please don't take her back! It is really, really in the past. She may be a gold digger, she may have found the grass isn't quite that green on the other side. It doesn't matter why. You did the right thing!
