It's all mind over matter. What you think about you bring about. You just have to search inside and remember why you had enthusiasm in the first place, and find it again. Or, adjust your thoughts to something new.

Well, as this question is not clear I will answer the best that I can. If you are trying to find enthusiasm on a given project then maybe you just need a break from it. If you just lack enthusiasm for anything then you need to find new hobbies and interests. Could be you are depressed too, so you may want to find a doctor and see if it is that. Get out, go for a walk once in a while. Visit the library for ideas, find people to hang out with at church, coffee shop or something. Either way good luck and do not stay in that rut.

It's really pretty easy - just redirect your interest in what ever it is that's sapped your enthusiasm to something else.

For instance, if you're a Red Sox fan, simply (and immediately) switch your attention to the New England Patriots.

Works every time!

Sometimes you need to walk away, change focus, and then at some point, "rediscover" that which you've lost enthusiasm for.

It depends on what the enthusiasm was for.

I talk to the animals. They don't care what I have to say just so long as I pay attention to them, feed them and let them out once
in a while. Either that or I take a nice long nap and then wait for tomorrow to arrive. It always does.

I get less enthused as I get older on purpose. I just try to relax and enjoy the moment.

I don't try to reclaim it. I just wait until the next thing excites me.
