It depends. With my first baby I felt movements but I didn't know what they were, it was easy to dismiss them as gas. But with my second baby I knew what I was feeling and I started feeling movement a lot earlier than in my first pregnancy. You will start to feel flutters and might not be sure of what they are for a few weeks. Don't worry by the time you hit 6 months you'll wish the baby would stop kicking you in the bladder for awhile. ;)

A lot of women don't feel movement until closer to 20 weeks, and some even later than that. The baby's movements are very subtle and infrequent at first. One woman in my childbirth class described what she felt as "little butterfly wings."
Over time both the quality and quantity of the movements change -- instead of feeling tiny little flutters every once in a while, you feel very distinctive pokes and kicks at all hours of the day and night. In the middle of pregnancy, you're probably going to spend hours watching your belly move around and change shape -- it's the best show in town!
For many women, experiencing the baby's movements is one of the most enjoyable aspects of being pregnant. So be patient. Your baby will make himself or herself known very shortly!

I would say in a few weeks more. It sounds like to be that this is your 1st pregnancy sooo it'll be around 20 weeks that you will feel the baby's movement. Also, just so you won't get confused (and heads up)...you definitely won't be able to tell the difference between gas and the actual movement. The way I sorted out the two were by actually sitting there and observing the "fluttering." I knew it was gas because I REALLY felt like farting. And times I felt the "fluttering" but didn't feel like passing the gas...I knew it was the baby's movement. Hope that helped!!!

With your first pregnancy it can be up to 26 weeks before you feel the baby.
With your second or more baby it will be sooner.
I am pregnant with my second and I am almost 19 weeks and have yelt to feel it, but I am not worried because at my last ultra sound I was told that they baby is just kicking placenta so I won't be able to feel it.

I'm 16 weeks, adn I started feeling my little one around the end of week 14, so just be patient. One way to make your little one move is to eat, and then lay down, and shine a flashlight right on your belly. The baby will run away from the light, and sometimes, it'll make you able to feel your baby sooner! Good Luck!

You will probably feel movement for the first time between 16-22 weeks. The baby moves before this point but until the bones are harder (and the baby is bigger than a grain of rice!) the movements are not noticed. If you are a slender woman you may feel movement sooner rather than later - according to my doctor. You may not notice the first time you feel movement if this is your first pregnancy.

Usually around 18 - 20 weeks along. I think I was around 22 weeks when I first felt my baby move.
Everyone is different.

My wife is going to have our first daughter any day now and I can tell you from second hand expeirence... She first heard the heart beat at 25 weeks and felt her kicking at 25-30 weeks. However now days at full term, I can see the baby moving under the skin. It is so amazing, its a miracle.
CONGRATULATIONS (if i spelled it right)

well with me I thought that the first feeling were so wonderful. they were like little butterflys in my tummy or little bubbles poping.
that was until my first desided to try and play guitar with my intestines and my third desided to stand up when i was at about 29 weeks with him (he pressed outward so hard my whold belly shifted and when I lifted my shirt to look at my belly you could almost see the imprint of a foot (these feelings where not wonderful!)
at first you will want that little bundle to do all sorts of bumps and kicks to reasure you that its there then after it gets bigger you will just wish week 40 was over so it wouldnt be kicking your lungs or punching your bladder!
with my first i started feeling him about month 5. (around week 20)
