Don't be self-conscious. I have a deep voice too, and I have a man's first name. I have used it to my advantage numerous times. If you don't want to talk to some one on the phone such as a bill collector just tell them you aren't there. As far as singing if you can carry a tune SING and be happy

I have somewhat of a deep smoky woice too alot of guys think it is sexy. Demi Moore has a very deep voice and alot of other actresses and singers
