The 'weight-loss' pill, was tapeworm(s). It does cause a person to lose weight, but, is also causing that person, to have a 'live' internal parasite. As far as I know, that procedure, has been 'out-lawed'... If indeed, someone, other, than yourself, could ingest a pound, or even perhaps, a half a pound, of 'live' maggots. The thought 'boggles' the mind! They (the maggots) would not survive the trip, let alone, the stomach's gastric juices, etc. Maggots are not an internal parasite. Maggots are a stage of a house-fly (or other type fly) growth stage. They do not live out their lives in the larva stage, kind of like caterpillars. So, if you ate a half a pound of maggots, and a half a pound of caterpillars, the combination would not serve as a colon-cleanse...Try prune juice.

Don't be a putz!

There is nothing in your colon that needs cleansing. Feces are the result of the bodies using the nutrients and removing waste products. Why put anything up your a** to do anything to a substance that is going to plop into the commode sooner or later anyway?

They actually had at one time some weight loss pills. They gave people intestinal parasites. Though it made many people loose weight they had many associated health problems such that these were outlawed and removed from the market.
