I had a dog-walking service when I was 14, I had about 5 regular "clients" and would charge by the 1/2 hour and extra to brush and bathe which I did on weekends. I also had temporary jobs walking dogs that my regulars would recommend me to others who were just too busy for a time or when the owners were sick. My regulars would also hire me (big bucks there...for a 14 year old) to "dog-sit" when they went out of town, extra walking, feedings, etc. I made a lot of money doing that.
