netword card?

my wireless antenna on my laptop suddenly went kaput, so i bought a wireless card after installing the software then i was instructed to put the card in the slot. now it's not getting recognized at all as a new hardware? need some help, what else could it be?

Try to go to Control panel>Add hardware and follow the instruction. This should detect your network card and if it asked you to install your driver just slide in the CD/floppy which came along with the card for it to install it again. This should work!
