Looks like Cedar Rapids is just SW of Anamosa. Check out that city as well. It's a little bit bigger, and will probably have more chance of having "events." Click on the link below, and find a telephone number for the Tourism Office (?) or something similar. Im sure they'd be glad to help you out with what's going on for your specific dates.
