am looking for the name of a movie... its about the holocaust, it was set in the theresenstadt ghetto.?

the movie was about a famous french performer (clown) who was sent to perform in the ghetto... he was tricked and of course, was interned. the movie tells his story and the story of the children in the ghetto... i just cant remember the name of the movie.. can anyone help
