NO, that's what my husbans for. I haven't pumped gas in 12 years.

Gas is quite possibly the worst smell in the world. Since my wife and I have a 3 month old son, I keep hand sanitizer in the car. Even when my son is not in the car with me, I use some after pumping gas. Who knows how many germs are on the gas handle???

One time we went to Texas on a long road trip for a three day weekend. My girlfriend and I were wearing miniskirts when we stopped in Texas on a windy road. Every pump had a man at it that looked like a million dollars. I was pumping gas and trying to hold my skirt down. So I stuck the gas card in my mouth to hold it. It tasted like gas also. By the time I was through holding my mini skirt down and pumping the gas for modestys sake my mouth was numb. I told my friend when I got in the car and she laughed said she would have held my skirt down. I said no thank you it was eye attracting and embarassing enough. Having another young good looking woman holding her miniskirt down while holding mine down would have been even worse.
I thought the smell was bad enough but that experience taught me how much gas spreads around and how fast. I think I just got the pump handle out and then took the card out of my hand to put in my mouth while pumping. It is not a good experience and definitely not healthy.

Yes and then it seems like your whole car smells like gas for ever after you pump gas.

nope I don't mind at all, but I am also somewhat of a mechanic so I'm used to it. Most gas stations have a box of disposable mitts next to the pumps, look for it the next time you get gas. no more smell.

Actually, i love the smell of gas which my dad says is so abnormal and that i need more vitamin B...
I adore the smell.

and then there's no soap in the filthy restroom either. sheesh oughta be a law if they aint got no dang soap then they gotta pump it for yah.
