No. I think 9/11 should be portrayed as how it was. I think it is ridiculous that Hollywood would take something like that and make parts of it fictional. I think they should be ashamed of themselves and any one who was part of the movie also. We should remember it as how it was not what Hollywood thinks will make us watch

You've been misled. Everyone tried to say that this show is brimming full of horrible misinformation, and that just isn't the case.
There were two -- TWO! -- disputed scenes.
"As for specific criticisms -- and changes -- the original mini contained a scene in which then-National Security Adviser Sandy Berger declines to give the CIA authority to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, even when CIA operatives know where he is."
What? This happened several times! What did they get wrong, the people involved? The date? The general idea is certainly correct.
"The film reportedly contains a scene in which the CIA declines to share information about the 9/11 hijackers with the FBI and ascribes that failure to the so-called wall limiting information-sharing by the Dept. of Justice. ... This scene is puzzling at best, inaccurate at worst."
I'm puzzled by why they're puzzled by it. Again, this is common knowledge -- the inability for CIA and FBI to share information. It's why Homeland Security was created. What'd they get wrong? Whoever placed the phone call? Jeez.
Definitely partisan activity here: criticism. They're trying to get you to doubt the whole movie, and it worked.
If you've watched the news at all in the last ten years, you'll see that not only was it accurate, it was downright tasteful.

I think you will get many responses to this movie. I do not agree with the movie personally. But, it is no different from the many other movies which "dramatize" a true story or give half baked stories/truths/lies. Take for instance the two films about United/Flight 93 or Fahrenheit 9/11... you can not say these film are better or worse than any of this film.
If you are discussing the political aspects of the movie, such as whether the film is correct for pointing fingers at Clinton Administration... I do not concern my self with the hurt feelings of politicians. ;)
All I can say, watch the film if you are that interested and make your own judgements of the fasts/lies that the movie attempts to portray.

No, it's not right. As there are parts of society who will believe it is true. Also, why create a story about one of the most serious events in our country and make certain things up?
When Oprah had the author who made up stuff for his book people got annoyed as they thought it was real. I'd think more people would be upset about this fake minseries. Docudrama is not a good word for it. This is one situation where one can't make up details that lead to such a serious occasion.

People always make movies about disasters and plane crashes, I don't think they say it is 100% accurate, but they do tie together the fact that the WTC was bombed twice. People seem to have forgotten that it happened before.
And I feel awful for the families of the people who died, but you know what? They are going to be very depressed anyhow! And I think they would rather people watched something that is partially inaccurate then forget it entirely. And if they don't want to watch it, they can change the channel. But I'll bet some watched it and cried. It is cathartic for them.
I think we should be more concerned about preventing this from ever happening again. We must learn what we can do to stop this, we must learn what to look for, we must learn the warning signs.

Do you think if they cared and respected the dead they would have made the movie. I hope they make no money on it. It is all about the money. Are they giving any to the poor spouses and children of the victims? They can only guess what really happened on that flight because no one survived.

This movie should be about only one thing, preventing it from happening again. No matter who was in office, it does not excuse that it did happen. This government has persisted in pointing their finger at the other party and saying, "I confess, they did it." Remeber that story of George Washington and the cherry tree? Somebody ought to read it to Washington.

Its totally wrong. They should have respect for the families who lost so much in 9 11 and not make them relive it.

Sure, just don't call it a "docudrama" and say that it's based on the 9/11 commission report.
