Anyone saying Carolina....Nope, not a suprise. Without Smith...I know we don't have much of an offense...Atlanta got lucky that he couldn't play other wise you can be damn sure Carolina would have had more success than that.

Biggest suprise was probably with Baltimore so far. What the hell happened to Tampa's defense? If they keep that up, I'll have to change my list of playoff teams and actually include the Falcons :| That was pathetic 27-0 against 2005's best defense....Good news for me...but bad bad bad news for them.

The Saints. They palyed well on both sides of the ball especially defense which has been lacking for some time. In the Saints case a new broom sweeps clean and the coach has done one heck of a job.

The biggest surprise was that Kellen Winslow, the erstwhile warrior of Cleveland, didn't break his ulna and raduis with a debilitating pre-game hangnail. Warriors in Cleveland are fragile, I guess.

All the teams people wrote off as jokes(Bills, Jets, Titans, Lions, 49ers) showing up and playing very well...and the astonishing stat of only 2 home teams winning thus far...

I would say Dallas losing to Jacksonville. That or Seattle only beating Detroit by a field goal. And, no the Giants will not win Superbowl 41!

Broncos loss was the biggest surprise. The Bills playing the Pats so close was my second biggest surprise.

That the Baltimore Ravens would have so much success today against the Bucs. They had the complete game AND scored TWO offensive touchdowns...wow!
