I remember, as a young girl, going to Sea World Orlando and getting these wax figurines from a machine with windows so you could watch the process. They were blue dolphins on a small platform (one piece) and the like. They were warm and smelled good (sorry) when you got them out of the machine. Tell me I'm not crazy.

I was there when I was stationed in Orlando in 1977. I don't remember the specific machine you're talking about, but I wouldn't be surprised if one was there. There was a very similar machine to the one you describe at The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in the late seventies, so Sea World having one would make sense.

no but i went to seaworld on the Gold Coast in Australia in the late 80's
