that area feels stiff and tender. Anyone know what this is? BTW, i'm on the homestretch of wearing braces. They're coming off a week from tomorrow.

Hmmm . . . I don't know exactly what part of your mouth went numb. Maybe you can call the dentist's office and ask them if it's something they should look at before your upcoming visit. If it's bothering you a lot, I would definitely drop by their office and ask them about it. Going to a physician will never hurt you, except perhaps your wallet. I hope someone can give you a better answer than this, because I'd hate to see you waste money on an unnecessary visit. Good luck!

this is a stretch and probably isn't it, but it might be bell's palsy, the swelling of the nerve in your cheek, if it's just on one side then that might be it, but if it's on both sides of your face then it isn't
