pros: they are much easier to maintain than real tattoos; they look cute; like with real tattoos, the designs are limitless; they are temporary

cons: the smell can get to be too much; they are too expensive usually for the time they last; any physical activity can reduce their lifespan

I got one when i was younger and i loved it. I only paid 10 bucks for it in Ireland and it last like two weeks. My friends however got one over the summer and theirs were gone within a week because they swam almost every day. And they each paid 30 for theirs. As far as i know, henna won't do anything to the skin, espeically if you only get one.

Pros: They look cool. Come off
Con: The only con I can think of is I knew a girl that got a lower back henna tattoo...and it gradually came off and some of it was still left on some of that little peach fuzz some girls have on their lower back...and it just looked like she had a thick black back beard. and it lasted a week or so

so be careful

Go to http://www.easyhenna.com for tons of info on henna. Also checkout http://shopbeachcombers.com for all your henna needs. Stay away from black henna, very dangerous. Info on black henna can be found at easyhenna.com. Beachcombers has all natural henna and in colors too. Henna is super fun, can be applied anywhere on the body and you can get all sorts of different results with it. You have to experiment. Henna is not a one size fits all type of thing. For everyone it will be different.

No cons. My eight year old does them. They are pretty & fun. Of course, I help her. The pro is....you get better with pratice & they are not permanent. They do last a while though.
