I would agree with most and say pantyliner everyday. They are good any way as they trap moisture which can breed bacteria or fungus (yeast.) You should start tracking your periods over the next few months and see if you have a regular cycle (usually 28 days from start to start), then you can wear a pad on the days you should start. If you feel ready for tampons, they are more easily hidden in a jacket pocket and if you already know how to insert one OB makes one with out an applicator that are tiny. As for carrying a purse...Well you're growing up now, maybe it's time to start carrying one. You're not going to have that backpack with you when you get out of school.

I'm in high school too but the classes are an hour and a half long? You must have like, four classes.
When you're expecting your period, wear darker, looser pants. Wear a panty-liner. If you feel like you started, just say you have to go to the bathroom and its an emergency. If he still doesn't let you, walk out. You always have that right as a woman and you'll win the fight.
Use tampons. Even if its the super thin ones. Their much better than bulky pads.
Keep some in your pocket. And if you have to get one out of your backpack, just do it, and don't make a big scene. Fact is, most people probably wont notice, or care. Guys avoid the subject and girl's go thru the same thing.
Chill!

what i do is usually keep track of what time i get them and be prepared ahead of time.....everyone has a different cycle, but it usually always goes accordingly....and it doesn't have to been every month some get their period every 40 days and so on. Not only should you try to find out how many days are in between and/or what time does it usually start but you body also gives out something like what you could call signals that basically its almost time...whether it be minor cramping, discharge of any sort bloating the list goes on and on, but whatvere it is it usually occurs one or two days beforehand so just wear one ahead of time so you wont have to get into that kind of situation. good luck!

well tampons really work since they are so small yo can just put them in your pocket without anyone noticing it, but if you are too scared of tampons just tell ur teacher sure it might be embarrasing but hey isnt walking out of class with a huge stain more embarrasing so its all worth it and besides its a girl thing and it happens to everyone so im sure it wont be the first time ur teacher hears it

if you have an idea when its going to start, wear pantiliners or pads a day or two before, just to be safe. or, if its unexpected, hold your backpack under your desk, pull out a pad or tampon, and put it in your pocket. hide it with your hand and don't make a big deal out of it

don't worry i have the same situation. i dont carry a purse. and there is no time in between classes so i dont know what i'm going to do! i guess just wear a sweatshirt and put pads in there? or just slip one out and hide it inyour sweatshirt.
i'm still trying to figure out a way to do this myself for tomorrow. don't you just hate school?

im always scared this wil happen too, so i keep track of the day i start my period, and then i wear a pad when i start getting cramps or when i think it will happen.
NEVER WEAR A PAD ON A THONG! ITS ONE OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS YOU COULD DO!

if you are concerned about starting in class wear a pantyliner to school that will at least give you some protection if you start in class. worked for me anyway.
